Y’all know I am a fan of Thrive Market. I’ve been a member for 6 months now. But I was a skeptic for a while. I mean, $60 just to join?! Seriously.
When I really started looking at their prices compared with prices I could get elsewhere, though, I began to see that you can really save some serious money on certain items. Not everything is cheaper at Thrive Market, but many items are. So much so that you can quickly and easily make up for the membership fee. Sort of like Amazon Prime. How many people scoffed at that at first? And now how many people are madly in love with Amazon Prime?
NOTE: This is NOT a sponsored post. This is just me sharing about a service I love an I think you would enjoy too. I am an affiliate with Thrive Market, which simply means I get a small kickback (at no extra cost to you) only if you click one of the links in this post and actually sign up for a year membership.
Maybe you’re asking yourself, “What is this ‘Thrive Market’ she’s going on about?” Well, here’s the explanation in their own words:

We carry over 2,500 of the highest quality food, supplements, home, personal care, and beauty products from over 400 of the best brands on the market, all delivered straight to your door at 25-50% off retail prices. Our mission is to make health living easy, affordable, and accessible for every American family. – Thrive Market
Ten Things I Save on at Thrive Market
Way back in 2014, I did several posts sharing my monthly Costco hauls. Those posts continue to be popular, so I thought I’d do something similar to share with you what I get from Thrive Market. Here are ten things I’ve ordered from Thrive in the past 6 months. I always compare prices at a couple of different places before ordering to be sure I am getting the best price, and I always make sure my order meets the $49 threshold for free shipping.
1. Acure Organics Products
I would continue my membership with Thrive just for their prices on Acure Organics products. I get items for about half the price of brick-and-mortar stores and 15%-50% less than other online retailers.
I use Acure Organics shampoo and conditioner, day cream, night cream, eye cream, and seriously firming facial serum. Thrive doesn’t carry all of Acure Organics’ products, but I’m really hoping they add to their line over time. The products and company are fantastic and Thrive’s prices on them can’t be beat.
Now, this totally depends on what vitamins you prefer. I like food-based vitamins and I prefer organic (especially for my kids). I get Rainbow Light vitamins for myself and Yummi Bears Organics for my kids and Thrive usually has the best price.
You can probably find cheaper brands elsewhere. But I am choosy when it comes to brands for vitamins and supplements. And Thrive carries brands I prefer. If you compare prices on the exact same products, Thrive usually has better prices on things like elderberry syrup, fish oil, probiotics, letter vitamins, and other supplements.
4. Vital Proteins Products
I get Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides and Collagen Protein Gelatin. Thrive Market’s prices on these products is at a huge discount compared with other online retailers.
Coconut oil, sweet almond oil, avocado oil, Argan oil, castor oil, grapeseed oil… I get all of these from Thrive Market. Although, I will say that you can sometimes find some of these on sale on Amazon for a better price. Like I said, I just check a few different places before ordering to make sure I get the best price before I buy.
Thrive Market consistently has good prices on natural deodorant. I like Nourish Organics, Primal Pit Paste, and Kiss My Face brands (different brands/types for different occasions).
My oldest daughter gets some seriously crazy tangles in her sleep. I mean, it’s not uncommon for the girl to wake up with a mass of tangles sticking out 3 inches in the back! And I’ve tried a lot of different leave in conditioners and detanglers. So far, we really like Everyday Shea detangler, and Thrive Market offers the best price by far.
8. Traditional Medicinals Tea
I love Traditional Medicinals teas. We always keep Nighty Night and Echinecea Plus on hand. Thrive Market’s prices are just slightly less than other retailers, and I usually find Traditional Medicinals teas on sale locally during the fall and early winter. But when the difference is only a few cents, I’ll go ahead and add some boxes to my order if it helps me get up to the free shipping rate. But if the price at the grocery store is significantly less I will pass on ordering this from Thrive.
9. Earth Mama Angel Baby Products
These are just wonderful products for expectant moms, new moms, and babies. As we get closer and closer to welcoming Baby Number 3 to the family, I’ve been stocking up on some of my favorites.
10. Free Gifts!
I can’t forget to mention the free gifts! Thrive Market occasionally offers a free gift to new members or existing members who spend a certain amount (usually $49, which is threshold for free shipping anyway). I’ve gotten a few things for free that way! Coconut oil, protein bars, and cans of salmon, just to name a few!
This isn’t everything I get from Thrive Market, but it’s a pretty good list of things I order regularly. You can easily check out their prices just by registering with their site FOR FREE. You don’t have to start a free trial membership to check out their prices! Once you register, you’ll get 15% off to use on your first order and only when you place an order does your free trial membership start. You can cancel it at any time. If you like it and want to save for a full year, the membership fee is $59.95.*
